In spite of Chili’s being around in India for quite some time now, both in Pune and Bangalore, the two cities I’ve lived in, I had never got a chance to visit this place before. However, I happened to go there with a couple of friends recently and I must say that I was highly impressed! The food was amazing; the staff was kind, efficient and provided good service, and overall the night turned out to be a lot of fun!
A place that gets its name from the famous rabbit and tortoise story that has been a part of each one of our childhoods, The Black Rabbit opened up quite about a year ago on the always-buzzing 100 feet road of Indiranagar. With its explicit golden nameplate outside, this place is elegantly done on the inside as well and has a nice, chill vibe to it.
Nachos are everyone’s favourite and the amount of restaurants you can go visit to have them is innumerable! But if you want to have some Real Mexican Food and gorge on to tacos, burritos or tostadas, Chinita in Indiranagar is the place to be!
If you are in the mood for a wholesome and filling English, Spanish or Ultimate breakfast, Crème and Crust in Indiranagar is the place to be! Although the place has been designed in a manner that it is apt for a breakfast for two, or for one of those solo breakfasts you have when you’re in the midst of working or contemplating about life/relationships/breakups, you can go there in a group as well, just like I did.
With a name that can be as direct as possible, The Table Blue, one of the newest restaurants in Indiranagar, literally has blue tables making up most of its ambience. The first look was pretty neat I’d say, blue tables, white chairs with red cushions, and green wine bottles with a flower each, on every table. I like how they’ve kept it to a minimal with the colours, because too many colours can tend to look too shabby.
Another one of those happy vibe restaurants on 100 ft road in Indiranagar, Doffpub and Lounge is a pleasant and relaxing place for a nice lunch along with beverages, or even an evening out. Located on the 3rd floor, this is not an open rooftop place, but gives you the feeling if it being one, since it has an outside seating area. There is a foosball table, which is one of the first things you see as you enter, so along with good food and drinks, this place also provides recreation.
