WasshPossh Café – Eat, Pray, Love & Laundry at this new place in town!

Hate doing laundry? Wish there would be something you could do in between those long periods of waiting for your load to get done? Well, Laundromat Café is here to solve your woes!

Laundry Cafe in Pune
You know the most fun thing about Laundry? Head to WaashPossh to find out!

The concept is simple. You drop in, give your clothes for laundry, chill in the cafeteria, order from their healthy, minimalistic menu, and do whatever the hell you want to do while you while the clothes get ready! Sip a milkshake (or two), have a few quick-bites; read some book or watch TV while your laundry spins at the back. Eat, pray, love and wallah! Clean, crisp clothes are ready to be taken home.

This very interesting concept is already famous abroad, and in the past couple of years, it has been making waves in India too! After grabbing attention at a couple of metropolitan cities, the concept of a laundry-cafe is making waves in our very own Pune!

Located at Nagar Road, this one is quick to spot from across the street and operates from 8 am to 10 pm. The very helpful staff will assist you with your laundry and also put together a quick bite from their small yet healthy menu whilst you wait. For those too busy to visit, Laundromat will also pick up, wash, iron and deliver your clothes, everything under 24 hours!

Pineapple express punch
I went on a Pineapple Express Ride!

The menu is simple and adequately priced. It includesa few of snacks, fresh juices, milkshakes and natural whole fruit blends. We opted for the Mango Milkshake and Pineapple Express (a natural blend of pineapple, orange, nutmeg, and lemon), served without sugar or ice. For the munchies, we chose the Punjabi Samosa (INR 30) that was served piping hot!

The perfect Indie partner to my punch – the Samosa!

While space is small and doesn’t have a very fancy ambiance, we loved the clever concept altogether. Doing laundry may still be a task but this one will help you out with yours and definitely make the whole experience so much less of a drag! So head out now for a productive date with dirty laundry right now!

The dish, however, which raised the overall benchmark of the meal to another level was the Spaghetti Bolognese (Rs. 200). Rich, delicious and perfectly tangy, this one was filled with a whole lot of Italian goodness!
