Happiness hours at The Doff Pub!

Another one of those happy vibe restaurants on 100 ft road in Indiranagar, Doffpub and Lounge is a pleasant and relaxing place for a nice lunch along with beverages, or even an evening out. Located on the 3rd floor, this is not an open rooftop place, but gives you the feeling if it being one, since it has an outside seating area. There is a foosball table, which is one of the first things you see as you enter, so along with good food and drinks, this place also provides recreation.

I went for there for an afternoon lunch with a couple of my friends and it seemed like a perfect place for catching up and having some good conversation. The place is anyway quite an ease on the pocket, and the happy hours will almost make your pocket chuckle! We were quite impressed with the prices, more so because the beer drinkers vouched for the fact that the beer was really nice and not at all bad tasting or watery, like a lot of other places where beer is offered at cheap rates. If you are a fan of trying out different beers, they also have a lot of imported brands from places like Netherlands and Italy, and three types of Euro Beer.

For food, we ordered the chicken nachos, chilly chicken and chicken momos. Chicken momos were impressively served in the cane bamboo case and were quite tasty. There was very limited amount of chutney served but the waiter got us some more when we asked for it. The chilly chicken was yummy too but the nachos were a little disappointing. There was good effort put into presenting them; each piece was laid out separately and loaded with the toppings, just like a roadside bhel puri guy would set up your dish of sev puri. But the sour cream or yogurt (I’m not too sure what it was) on the toppings was strangely sweet and gave an unappealing taste to every bite. We asked for Tabasco sauce and along with few drops of it, topped it up with some momo chutney, which made the taste way better and edible. So yes, I would not recommend the nachos at all.

Apart from that, they played good music; the staff was friendly and was available at our beck and call whenever we needed them and we managed to have a fun and enjoyable afternoon!
